To get your full driving licence you need to pass two tests, one theory and one practical:
The theory test is a computer-based, touch-screen test held at various centres around the country. There are 35 multiple-choice questions and you need to get at least 30 correct to pass.
Practical tuition can start at any time, but you will need to pass a theory test before you can book and take a practical test.
A full list of test fees is available from the Driving Standards Agency. If you pass your theory test but fail your practical test, you only need to take your practical test again. |
